Groovy Lemon Pie is a band comprised of veterans from the Boston music scene. David Baillie (Guitar and Vocals), and Scott Crocker (Vocals) are founding members of the long-lost, post-punk band Toymaker, which rose to the top of the Boston original music scene in 1983 and blew itself apart within a year. Vic DiSalvo (Drums and Vocals) had played with proto-punks, Tommy Gun, before being recruited by David Baillie for the reborn Toymaker in 1988. This version of Toymaker went on to win rumbles and became the house band for Bill Ash's on Revere Beach for several years. The most recent permanent members of GLP are Johnnie Palmeiri and Mike Dougwillo, lead guitar and bassist, respectively. Johnnie is the youngest member and has earned his spot in the band due to his fresh virtuosity.
